Aspect Holdings is an independent exploration and energy investment company engaging in exploration, production, investment, and development activities in North America and Europe. Aspect’s affiliate in Hungary, Hungarian Horizon Energy operates on 10 mining sites, and has an exploration license for 27 areas.

For the development of a natural gas field in the Dévaványa region in Hungary a wellhead gas gathering compression installation was required to compress natural gas from the Törökkoppány 1 well for injection to a transport pipeline. For this project CSH delivered an electric driven 2-stage reciprocating compressor.

Scope of supply:
One (1) skid mounted electric driven 4-throw, 2-stage reciprocating compressor package, comprising of:

  • Ariel compressor, type JGA/4 (API618)
  • Electrical driver Eexde with frequency drive
  • Pulsation dampers, on both stage in- & outlet
  • KO drums for 1st and 2nd stage
  • Heavy duty compressor gas inlet scrubber
  • Gas to air interstage and discharge cooler
  • Lubrication oil system, including cooling
  • Skid mounted Local Control Panel incl. gauge board
  • PLC based Unit Control Panel, supplied loose for mounting in safe area
  • Suitable for hazardous area ATEX Zone 1, Gas group IIA, T1
  • Factory acceptance test with site start up, commissioning, and training activities
