Project Engineer

Job description

As part of a project team, you will work on projects, providing detailed engineering, planning, procurement, delivery and documentation in consultation with the customer.
Your work will mainly consist of:

  • Elaborating drawing work in 3D (Autodesk Inventor)
  • Assisting the engineering department with designs of compressor and pump installations.
  • Drawing up specifications for suppliers and subcontractors
  • In consultation, selecting the right components to assemble the installations.
  • Creating and compiling maintenance books and manufacturing data books.
  • Document and certificate management.

Job requirements

  • Pragmatic.
  • Good communication skills.
  • HBO thinking – or education level mechanical engineering, energy engineering, A.O.T. or equivalent.
  • CAD experience (Auto desk Inventor version 11).
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
  • Experience with compressors or rotating equipment in general.
  • Good knowledge of English (Dutch is a plus).
  • 5 to 10 years working experience in the following industries is a plus:
    – Industry
    – Oil & Gas
    – Petrochemistry
    – Maritime/offshore

Functieomschrijving

In een projectteam werkt u de projecten uit, waarbij detail- engineering, planning, inkoop, uitlevering en documentatie in overleg met de klant wordt verzorgd.
Uw werkzaamheden zullen vooral bestaan uit het:

  • Uitwerken van tekenwerk in 3D (Autodesk Inventor)
  • Assisteren van de afdeling engineering met ontwerpen van compressor en pompinstallaties.
  • Opstellen van specificaties voor leveranciers en onder aannemers
  • In overleg selecteren van de juiste componenten voor het samenbouwen van de installaties.
  • Maken en samenstellen van onderhoudsboeken en manufacturing data boeken.
  • Document- en certificaten beheer.

Functie eisen:

  • Pragmatisch.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • HBO denk – of opleidingsniveau werktuigbouw, energietechniek, A.O.T. of gelijkwaardig.
  • CAD-ervaring (Auto desk Inventor versie 11).
  • Goede vaardigheden om met de computer te werken en kennis van Microsoft-programma´s.
  • Ervaring met compressoren of “rotating equipment” in het algemeen.
  • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse en de Engelse taal.
  • 5 tot 10 jaar werkervaring in de volgende bedrijfstakken is een pré:
    – Industrie
    – Oil & Gas
    – Petrochemie
    – Maritiem/offshore
